Before Panama was (in)famous for Panama Papers, it was known for the Panama Canal and Panama hats (which are made in Ecuador, by the way). The bridge between the two Americas, it is a millennium city with skyscrapers, excellent roads and some of the costliest tolls in the world – like the Panama Canal.
